SISTERLOCKS

The Sisterlocks package price includes four parts. The Consultation, the Starter Kit, the Establishment and 1 complimentary follow-up retightening.

 

CONSULTATION - $50 

Step one of your Sisterlocks journey will be to schedule your consultation. The consultation is an opportunity for you to ask questions based the research you have done prior to your appointment. You will be provided with important information on what to expect and how to properly care for your Sisterlocks. Your hair will be evalulated for density and the length will be measured. You will be provided with a price quote based on your hair evaluation and test locks placed in your hair. The test locks will be evaluated when you return for your establishment. The fee of $50 for your consultation will be applied to your establishment. Please be prepared to remit a $400 deposit to lock in your establishment dates.

NEW ESTABLISHMENT/INSTALLATION - $1200+

Step 2 of your lock journey is your Establishment.  The LOC establishment can take anywhere from 12-30+ hours. Your locking days will be scheduled in 3,  12 hour days, however, we may not need all of the scheduled time. Any deviation from your original locking schedule will result in a $100/hr fee, $250 reschedule fee or 50% cancellation fee.

 

  • $1200 up to 5 inches of hair

  • $100 for each inch over 5 inches

  • *Head circumference and density are also considered in final cost

MICROLOCKs (Interlocks/Two Strand)

CONSULTATION - $50 

Interlocks are larger uniform locks that are installed via freeform grabbing parts of the hair and starting a locking method, parting hair for a cleaner look or brick-layering. Like Sisterlocks™️, a tool is used to place the hair into its lock formation. We will review all of the information that will get you off to a great start on your journey. Your hair will be measured & test locks placed in your hair will be evaluated when you return for your establishment. A quote will be given during your consultation. The fee of $50 for your consultation will be applied to your establishment. Please be prepared to remit a $400 deposit to lock in your establishment date.

NEW ESTABLISHMENT/INSTALLATION

When you have your interlocks session the hair can be parted in even layout squares or brick-laid squares or rectangles. We will determine that based on your hair density, texture, and overall desired outcome. An initial consultation will be required to compile this information along with a price quote

  • $900+ up to 5 inches of hair (Interlocks)

  • $700+ up to 5 inches of hair (Two Strand)

  • $100 for each inch over 5 inches

  • *Head circumference and density are also considered in final cost

TRANSFER CLIENTS

All incoming transfer clients who are already locked will pay a $100/hr fee for the FIRST LOC RETIGHTENING service. Upon becoming a regular recurring client, regular rates will be available

  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is required. 

  • Washing service is $35 with braid & band or $25 without braid & band

  • Please note that this pricing is for retightening. If loc repair service or grooming is needed additional fees will apply.

RETIGHTENING

Retightening intervals are based on hair growth patterns, among many other factors. Retightening times will vary based on Hair density, length, condition &  retightening interval.  Please arrive on time with your locks taken down from any braids, bands, or twists. & separated at the root. This will allow your appointment time to be more efficient. Once your retightening time is determined, additional time falls under  “excessive retightening time“ (See excessive retightening time prices below)

  • Washing service is $35 with braid & band or $25 without braid & band

  • $145 for 4-5 wks(up to 3 hrs)

  • $160 for 6-7 wks(up to 3 hrs)

  • $190 for 8-9 wks(up to 3 hrs)
    Retightening sessions over 3 hrs will be charged $1 per minute

  • $220 for 10-12wks(up to 3.5 hrs)
    Retightening sessions over 3.5 hrs will be charged $1 per minute

  • Over 12wks will be billed at $100 per hour

REPAIR & GROOMING

Sometimes It becomes necessary to give your locks more care than the regular retightening schedule provides. You may have excessive slippage, bunching, holes in locs or fuzziness that needs further attention. This will need to be scheduled in a separate appointment outside of the retightening appointment.

Grooming $80/hr (billed in 15 minute increments)

Loc Repair Consultation $50

* type of repairs needed and cost will be determined during consultation

STYLING

Want a new look? A style can be added to your appointment! This includes updos, Bantu Knots, braid outs & twist outs. This service can be provided after your retightening & should be booked in advance

  • $35 Simple Updo

  • $45+ Fancy Updo

  • $55+ Rod/Roller Set

  • $65+ Individual Braid/RopeTwist

POLICIES

HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • A $25 late fee is charged at the 15-minute late mark. 

    • Appointment time starts at scheduled time not time of arrival​

  • Rescheduling or cancellation of retightening appointments must be done more than 24hrs prior to appointment time.

    • A $50 last-minute cancellation or no-show must be paid prior to rescheduling. This fee will be deducted from any deposit that was paid.

  • Consultation fees are non-refundable after 48 hours.

  • Deposits for new establishments/installations are non-refundable after 72 hours.

  • Clients not receiving shampoo service at the studio must arrive with their hair washed no more than 24 hours prior to the appointment. Hair must be free of ALL products/oils. Failure to comply will result in rescheduling of the appointment and will incur a $50 fee. 

  • For all appointments only clients are allowed, no guests. 

  • Studio and tools are sanitized between each client

  • Masks will be worn

  • Your temperature will be checked with a contactless infrared gauge thermometer upon your arrival.

  • Hand washing prior to entering the studio.
